This is the Participant Action Plan Booklet for the Essential EAFM training course. The Action Plan Booklet is a self-development tool that encourages participants to identify areas for personal improvement and to outline how they may achieve this. The action plan booklet is to be used in conjunction with the other course books (Handbook, Workbook, and Essential EAFM Toolkit).

It is structured into short introductory chapters, followed by the 17 course modules. The handbook contains the course notes and detailed background to each of the sessions of the training course. It is to be used in conjunction with the other course books (Workbook, Action Plan Booklet and Essential EAFM Toolkit).
This is the Participant Workbook for the Essential Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (E-EAFM) training course. The workbook contains the entry forms and pages for the individual and group activities which are part of the training course. The workbook is to be used in conjunction with the other course books (Handbook, Action Plan Booklet and Essential EAFM Toolkit).
This is the Toolkit for the Essential EAFM training course. The Toolkit contains descriptions and practical advice on the different types of tools with are used in the development of Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management Planning. The Toolkit is divided into two sections: The People Toolkit includes a selection of tools that are useful throughout the EAFM process. EAFM requires a high level of stakeholder participation and involvement, from the planning, through implementation, to monitoring and evaluation. Appropriate use of these people skills? tools will ensure enhanced consultation and involvement of all parties in the EAFM process. The Technical Toolkit includes a selection of techniques, tools and resources that are useful throughout the EAFM process. The Toolkit is a background document to be used in conjunction with the other course books (Handbook, Workbook, and Action Plan Booklet).

The EAF-net website has been developed to facilitate access to the information and resources that are available at FAO on the application of the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries (EAF).
